Why aren't you called Leaf any more?

As our vision and product have grown, we outgrew the name “Leaf”. While sustainability and digitization remain core to what we do, our new brand “refive” reflects our mission to help revive and strengthen the brick and mortar retail and gastronomy sectors. Where can I use refive?

refive can be used with any transaction.   If you are shopping at a refive enabled merchant, ask them for a refive receipt at the checkout. If you are shopping at any other offline retailer, you can still use refive by scanning your paper receipt. If you are shopping online, you can forward your email invoice to receipts@refive.io and we'll create a record of this transaction alongside all your other receipts.

Does it work on all devices?

Accepted Answer

refive works on all your devices.   As a web application, we support any device with a web browser and an internet connection. refive even works on your non-mobile devices.   Some aspects, such as QR code scanning, require a device with a camera however.

Is there an app that I can download?

refive doesn't have a downloadable app at the moment. We are busy making our web application extraordinary before we consider this.   You can add the web-app bookmark to your Home Screen if you're using an iOS or Android device, and it operates just like an app.

A store I shop at often is not part of your network yet, what can I do?"

You can help us from two angles:   Tell your retailer about refive Send us details of the retailer to info@refive.io, and we'll get in touch with them.

How are you helping the environment?

A refive receipt saves a paper receipt from being printed. Did you know, there are only 55,000 receipts worth of paper in a single tree!   Soon we'll start cooperating with some rewards partners that offer environmentally focussed rewards so you can further do your part.

Can I use these receipts for taxes? Are they legally acceptable receipts?

Yes, when the receipt has been provided from a refive enabled retailer. We've taken considerable effort in making sure refive receipts comply to all necessary requirements to be considered a legally acceptible receipt.

Can I use refive receipts for exchanges, returns or guarantees?"

Accepted Answer

If you obtained the receipt from a refive enabled retailer, the receipt is legally acceptable for facilitating exhcanges, returns, or guarantees - within the normal conditions of the retailer.   If the receipt was either a scan of a paper receipt, an email receipt, or a manually uploaded receipt, the refive receipt copy is not sufficient for these purposes.

Is my data safe?

Of course! refive uses the highest and most secure level of encryption. Your data is therefore protected at all times.   refive also complies with all standards set under the GDPR framework regarding data protection and privacy in the European Union.

Can I export my data?

refive receipts can be individually exported as a PDF and/or sent to you via email.

How long is my data stored?

refive stores your data and makes it available to you for as long as your account is not deleted, and provided you are considered an "active user" with at least 1 login per calendar year.

Can I get my transaction data directly to my banking app?

How do I earn points?

You can currently earn Reward points by any of the following actions:   Taking a refive receipt directly from a merchant Uploading a photo of a scanned receipt Forwarding an email containing a digital invoice Inviting a friend to refive

Points are currently awarded as follows: 50 points per uploaded photo receipt 50 points per uploaded email receipt 50 points + 10 points per EUR for transactions at a refive enabled merchant 300 points for a successful referral

Where can I spend these points?

Accepted Answer

You are able to swap your rewards points for vouchers or discounts at all of the retailers located on the rewards section of the app, provided you have enough points for the specific reward.   This might include your favourite fashion, eletronics, or cosmetics store.

Do you support all types of email receipts?

refive currently supports email invoices that are displayed directly in the body of the email.   Unfortunately refive is not currently able to support invoices in email attachments

There is an error in my receipt what can I do?

If you notice an error in a receipt that you have received from a refive enabled merchant, or a receipt that you have uploaded or forwarded, please mark this receipt as inaccurate in the detailed view of the receipt. We'll take a look at this receipt, and take action where we need to.

How long are my points valid for?

refive reward points are valid for 36 months, before they expire.
